ACTIVITIES

Consultancy services are provided by the managing director, Ana Silvia, personally.

She has had the rare opportunity to work in executive positions in companies with many different organizational cultures: family businesses, such as Jornal do Brasil and Sendas Food Markets; private held companies as Grupo Telsul and  Wella; and listed companies, such as CSN-Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional, after its privatization, and Light SA, where she held the C-Level position as HR Director between 2006 and 2012, before resigning this position in order to she started her own management consulting company and to become  member of the board of directors for listed brazilian companies.

She has a large experience in change management, corporate governance, stakeholder and shareholder relationships;

Conflict management skills; strategic thinking, people management, leadership ability and team development, interpersonal relationships, developing D&I programs. Soft skills:curiosity, intuition, empathy and a good listener.

She has led projects to renew corporate culture, including D&I (diversity and Inclusion) programs.

The consulting is based on projects to assess the structure and processes, and helping to establish procedures that will support the revitalization resulting from the change, focusing in particular on developments to human resources (including labor issues) and business management.

Providing support to strategic decision-making on projects that need the involvement of an external consultant for the implementation phase of new processes.

Support in creating other customized solutions, according to the nature of the client.

Mentoring for management and CEO positions.
She is a member of  board of directors, and also a member of  board of directors’ committees (HR, compensation and governance).

Ana Silvia has a  Law degree  from UFRGS-Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and a post-graduation in HR Management at PUC – The Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
She has had executive training on numerous Management and Governance programs, in particular: The Advanced Management Program from INSEAD / France and the FDC-Fundação Dom Cabral-21st Edition; Advanced Course for Members of the Board of Directors from the IBGC-The Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance; A Diversity Program for Members of the Board of Directors – 4th Edition, organized by Brasil, Bolsa Balcão (B3), IBGC, IFC – the International Finance Corporation and the WCD-Women Corporate Directors.
Memberships: OAB/RS, WCD and IBGC.

Graduated degree in Law from UFRGS.

In 2002, she was part of the book “Mulheres que Abrem Passagem” (Women who opened ways), by Julio Lobos.
In 2009 she was elected as a member of the Board of the COGE Foundation, a private organization for brazilian electricity companies , a position she held until June 2014
In 2010, she completed the two stages of the 21st Edition of PGA-Advanced Management Program from INSEAD at Fontainebleau, France and the FDC, Fundação Dom Cabral in Minas Gerais
In 2010 she contributed with one of the 28 interviews that are part of book “Jeito Carioca na Gestão de Pessoas” (Managing People the Carioca Way) by Luiz Moura
In 2011 she received the “Medalha Tiradentes Award”, a title of citizen of the state of Rio de Janeiro, from the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro/Brazil.
After resigning her C-Level post at Light, she founded her own consultancy firm. Since then, she has worked on custom projects for Light, VALE, Energisa Group, Aliança Energia, Itaocara de Energia Consortium, Cemig Telecom, Boa Vista Energia, Ibitu Energia, and others.
Sabbatical Period, she Completed the “Camiño de Santiago” (the section between the city of Porto and Santiago de Compostela).
She took a sabbatical period during the first quarter and went on a trip Around the World.
Develops pro-bono project for the ETHOS Institute.
She was a Director on the Boards of Cemig Telecom, Cemig SA, Cemig Distribuidora, Cemig Transmissão e Geração and Renova Energia.
She was elected as a member of the Executive Development Committee of VALE, as it was then and is now known as the HR and Governance Committee of Board of Directors. This is now her 2nd Term.
She was elected to the Nomination and Evaluation Committee of COPEL S.A. - Companhia Paranaense de Energia of Board of Directors.
Development of a pro-bono project at the MAM-Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo.
Produced a consultancy project for IBITU Energia.
Becomes an investor and board member of SuperJobs, a Venture Capital company (portfolio of high impact Startups).
Mentoring projects for CEOs of HR Technology Startups (SuperJobs investments).
Initiatives as an Angel Investor of Startups and Scaleups.
